· Application for FAS
for Primary 1 to Primary 5 students, in 2021:
Parents/Guardians with children
studying in different Government or Government-aided schools need to complete only ONE
application form for all the school-going children and submit the form to the school of ANY
child. The school which receives the application form will inform
parents/guardians of the outcome for all the children.
NOTE: For parents/guardians who applied
for FAS through the sibling’s school, please submit the approval letter to Rivervale Primary School’s General Office
as soon as the approval letter is received in order to better facilitate
the issuance of the free textbooks and school attire.
· Application for FAS
for Primary 6 students going to Secondary 1, in 2021:
Primary 6 students can apply for FAS
at their primary school before the
release of the PSLE results in November 2020. The primary school will
process the application and inform parents/guardians of the outcome. After the
release of the posting results, a copy
of the approval letter is to be submitted to the secondary school to alert them
of the grant.
Parents/Guardians may refer to the MOE FAS 2021 leaflet that was distributed to your child/ward for more
information on the scheme.
All application forms are to be duly signed and submitted together with
copies of all relevant documents to the school’s General Office by Friday, 13 November
2020. Parents/Guardians are to seal the form and
all documents in an envelope and inform their child/ward to submit it to the
school’s General Office.
We seek your kind understanding that incomplete
submissions or failing to submit by the deadline will delay the processing of
applications.
Parents/Guardians are advised not to purchase any textbooks and/or school attire before receiving the outcome of your application. Parents/Guardians will be informed of the outcome of the application via phone call once their application has been approved, tentatively by 1st week of December 2020.
