Highlights

‘iBounce gymnastic mini trampoline’ provides students to jump on a trampoline that helps them to expand their energy while expressing their thoughts and creativity.  This programme enhances student’s skills and basic movement.  In addition, it also inculcates skills where students learn how to regulate different kind of jumping force to allow recovery or explosive movement.

 

Objectives

SEP is a collaborative partnership between Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and the Ministry of Education (MOE).

 

The objective of SEP is to expose students to various sports, encourage sports participation and increase sporting opportunities.

Programme

All primary 1 students had the opportunity to jump on a mini trampoline.  Professional instructors conducted safety briefing before they began jumping on the trampoline.  Students learned various jumping skills as well as learning how to land safely on a trampoline.  It was a fun and energetic session whereby students were engaged in the activity throughout the session.
