Rivervale equips every student with mathematical problem-solving ability in their daily lives through the acquisition and application of mathematics concepts. On top of that, programmes for inquisitive and deeper learning are organised such as.

1. Mathematics Carnival: Primary six students are tasked to design and facilitate the various Mathematics Carnival activities for the lower primary juniors. Through the activities, the students learn to apply mathematics concepts and skills outside the classroom whilst experiencing the joy of learning mathematics through fun activities.

2. Mathematics Trail: Students deepened their understanding of Mathematics concepts and skills through the Math Trail.

3. Spatial Visualisation Programme: This programme aims to develop students in their spatial visualisation intelligence. Students work in groups using different manipulatives to help them develop this intelligence.
